Retro Stomper Truck Put to the Test

Feepy is a child of today’s world.  He loves technology.  He’s always looking for a better solution, a short-cut, and “app for that.”  However, if you were to refer to him as an old soul in any form or fashion, he’d be an ’80s child.  He’s just got that vibe, and man, does he LOVE ’80s movies.

So, we took him back old-school for the latest Toy Toons Review. Check out the feathered hair and turned-up collar.  He was a great sport for the styling, and he was sooo ready to get to work:  Retro Stomper 4 x 4 vs the all new Max Tow Truck Mini.

Feepy came up with some challenging scenarios to put the toys to the test.  He offers a thorough video review.  Check it out.

His dad has a few more retro toy surprises coming up. What are some of your favorite retro toys?  We’d love to uncover more blasts from the past and compare them to today’s toys.  Give us a shout!

The Cutest 2 Year-Old Toy Reviewer

Introducing our newest toy reviewer and surprise unboxing pro, Max!

Max is a big Captain America fan.  In fact, we encourage him to take naps by agreeing to allow him to be Cap’n when he wakes up.  However, his first request for a Play-doh surprise egg to open on camera was a blue Spiderman.  He has been watching the other host Feepy open eggs, and he was very anxious for his turn.  He carefully selected the toys to display on the set, to include his beloved Play-doh Marvel can-heads.  Check out his Ironman sound effects.  He also wanted to reveal what’s inside of Diego’s backpack.  We think he did a wonderful job!

With a surprise egg opening under his belt, Max was ready to take on a substantive toy review.  He was given the Max Tow Truck mini Rev n Tow from Jakks Pacific. Behind the scenes, he call is the Max Me truck!  The toy car tows Disney Cars Dusty Crophopper and various other toys.  Max gives the Max Tow Truck Mini a thumbs up! It’s a tough little car that can haul a lot of stuff. The revving noises are cool, and the toy can take a beating. It can climb up steel surfaces. Max is continuing to test the strength of the Max Mini, and we have had to glue the bumper back together.  He is looking forward to testing the full size Max Tow Truck very soon. For under $15, you get a cool toy built for adventure.
