Cinderella’s Magic Pumpkin Play-doh Surprise Egg

Feepy and I (mom) met some friends to see the new Cinderella movie over spring break.  I thought it was absolutely beautiful.  To me, the sweet romance between Cinderella and Prince Charming was as magical as the big scene with the fairy godmother.  Feepy, who was not so interested in the dancing and happily-ever-after kiss, was mesmerized by the special effects when the pumpkin turns into the carriage.  When it came time for us to check out the Disney Princess Horse & Carriage, we knew we wanted to incorporate a pumpkin into our play scene for our YouTube toy review.

We crafted a big Play-doh surprise egg into a pumpkin to set up and open before taking a turn with the Disney toy set and doll.  Inside the surprise egg we discovered some cute trinkets: a Minnie Mouse Yazzle, a Littlest Pet Shop blind bag, and a Hello Kitty bubble necklace.

We had already set up Cinderella with her horse and carriage.  The toys looked absolutely stunning on our little video soundstage.  The horse and carriage are well made and roll easily.  It’s a little tricky to get Cinderella inside the carriage because of her crown.  Cinderella’s glass slippers slide on and off very easily, which is important for story reenactments.  The set would make a lovely addition to any Disney Princess collection!

Let’s do this! Opening Superhero Play-doh Surprise Eggs

The boys usually get some TV time after dinner and bath. They look forward to their quiet time, and they usually keep to themselves for a little while. But last night, mom sat down to make Superhero Play-doh eggs, and the boys quickly left their places in the recliners to check out the fun.

We took some inspiration from other Youtube creators who have modeled similar eggs. There are some really great Play-doh surprise egg videos out there, and we’re continuing to experiment to find our own groove. The little one was eager to sit next to mom so that he could roll some dough while watching a video of 100 egg reveals. Feepy stood by to provide artistic feedback.

We debated whether to put this video together last night since it’s testing week at school and we need to ensure Feepy is getting restful sleep. But, the eggs came along quickly, so mom took the little one to bed while dad and Feepy moved to the studio (aka the playroom). Feepy slapped on his Lightening McQueen wrist band, “Let’s Do This!” He really had loosened up and had such a good time.

Check out his video:

We’re glad we stuck with our video production plan. Our goal is to upload at least one video per day to grow our channel. And Feepy revealed a surprise toy that he’d been hoping to get: the Lego Minifigures Series 13 Carpenter. That’s a good end to a long day of standardized assessments.

Play-Doh Marvel Can-Heads Featuring Spider-Man and Green Goblin

Play-doh Marvel Can-heads Spider-man & Green Goblin set is an excellent add-on to the Can-heads collection.  Right out of the box, the Spider-man is a fun action figure because he comes with a little blue sword.  The Spidey can is filled with blue play-doh for modeling spiders from the mold under his foot-base attachment.  Our little one was immediately in love with this particular can-head, and the mold was relatively easy for him to do.

The Green Goblin features green play-doh and a cool gold base, perfect for hovering and flying maneuvers.  His molds include a jack-o-lantern on the foot-base, as well as a hornet, a sword, and a belt on the gold base.

For some reason, the play-doh in this set seemed stickier than usual, and it took a good while of playtime for it to be molded easily.  We joined the two super heroes with the other set in our collection, Smashdown Hulk with Ironman for a great day filled with play-doh fun.  The Marvel Can-heads by play-doh are fun for the entire family.

Play-Doh Surprise Egg 1

We’re unwrapping a custom coral reef Play-doh egg filled with a wonderful surprise!

Be sure to subscribe to our youtube channel!

We love watching Youtube creators open hand-crafted Play-doh eggs, and we were so anxious to try making our own.  We decided to go with a coral reef theme to match the fun contents of the surprise inside the egg.  First we rolled out the aqua dough and applied it to the plastic egg.  Then we rolled, cut, and applied the coral, the goldfish, and the purple octopus.  Very pretty!

Our little one was on stand-by for the reveal.  He snatched the goldfish right away.  Inside the surprise Play-doh egg was a Lego Friends building toy.  It was the Seal’s Little Rock from series 6.  Again, our little one kept occupied with the Lego seal and Lego fish figurines while mom started the build.  The instructions for this set were very clear, and it was a quick assembly.  The final display is an adorable seal with a bow on her head.  She has various platforms surrounded by pink flowers.  She also has a see-saw and yellow ball for play, and a fish for play or training incentive.

Let us know if you like to see custom Play-doh eggs.  We’re excited to make more!  There are some really cool ones here:  DCTC link.

Play-Doh Smashdown Hulk

Play-doh Can-heads Smashdown Hulk with bonus Ironman play set is one of the most fun and interactive play-doh toys we’ve ever tried.  The set features and Incredible Hulk action figure with five built-in molds: a jet, a tank, a wheel, and two bricks.  Hulk’s head is a can of green play-doh.  Hulk’s arms smash down when the can-head is depressed.  The arms move well, and it is easy to crush the play-doh creations.

The Ironman can-head is a smaller companion toy with blue play-doh and fewer features, but the one stamp under his feet is an awesome fire blaster.  It was simple to create a very clean mold that kept all of the details intact.

The action figures, alone, kept the kids busy while mom had fun trying out all the molds.  We really like the bricks, as they’re easy to mass produce quickly for Hulk to smash.

We spent hours playing with this toy right out of the box, and we look forward to playing with this toy in combination with other can-heads in the series, especially Spider-man.  We really appreciate Marvel super hero toys that are appropriate for little ones.  They allow creative play battles that are innocent and non-violent, but still incorporate popular action figures doing fun stunts.

Stay tuned for our next can-head unboxing review:  Spider-man & Green Goblin.
