MY VERY FIRST PEPPA PIG

She’s finally here, my very first Peppa pig toy!  She’s just a minifigure, but I’m so excited to add her to our Toy Tunes Reviews collection.  I know there are a lot of Peppa Pig fans out there, so I want to create some very special play fun with her.  Be on the lookout!

Peppa made her first appearance in a Hello Kitty surprise lunchbox.

Now, I’m waiting for my first shipment of Kinder egg capsules to arrive.  I have so many fun ideas to jazz them up to create colorful and exciting surprise egg videos.  Kinder surprise toys are so unpredictable.  Silly little trinkets!

Years ago we lived overseas as a military family.  We have fond memories of being introduced to the magic that is the Kinder egg.  Just as folks would collect coins from various commanders, they would collect and display Kinder egg toys on their desks.

Now, the order that I’m waiting for is the unopened toy capsules only.  The chocolate has been removed.  I have some supplies to make home-made chocolate surprise eggs, but I don’t know how many I’ll be attempting to make.

My first egg attempt is still hanging out in the freezer.  Maybe, just maybe, I’ll  wrap it up and put in in a video.  It’s not as pretty as a real Kinder egg.  For now, I’ll just continue to bask in the glory of my very first Peppa Pig!

How’d We Do? Our First Play-doh Surprise Egg Compilation.

So far, we’ve kept this toy review adventure somewhat of a secret. We haven’t gone on to our private Facebook pages asking for likes, and we’ve kept the work to ourselves. However, after modeling the set of Play-doh eggs featured in our first compilation video, I, aka mom, texted a picture of the creations to my sister. Even though we’re having fun building our channel with fun toy videos, I was desperate to get some validation of my work. I was particularly fond of my Hello Kitty egg. She concurred that is was cute.

Once the eggs were put together, we constructed a mini studio set filled with Play-doh cans and other toys. Our little one stacked the cans and found some of the decorations. We tried a new camera angle to match the compelling first-person view other egg openers use. It worked well, but I have to watch out on some of the reaching movements. The wide-angle lens gave the appearance that my arms were 4 feet long at times.

We’re continuing to learn which surprises are the most liked. We included some big names, such as: Disney Cars, Disney Frozen, Spiderman, Lego, Mickey Mouse, and then we filled in with other cute stuff.

Our little one loves to be able to shout out characters’ names when he watches surprise videos, but he’s also interested in seeing little animals and other toys. What are some of your kids’ favorite egg surprises? We started with a 13 egg video. Do you prefer the 100+ egg video? Surprise egg video fans, we’d love to hear from you!

Let’s do this! Opening Superhero Play-doh Surprise Eggs

The boys usually get some TV time after dinner and bath. They look forward to their quiet time, and they usually keep to themselves for a little while. But last night, mom sat down to make Superhero Play-doh eggs, and the boys quickly left their places in the recliners to check out the fun.

We took some inspiration from other Youtube creators who have modeled similar eggs. There are some really great Play-doh surprise egg videos out there, and we’re continuing to experiment to find our own groove. The little one was eager to sit next to mom so that he could roll some dough while watching a video of 100 egg reveals. Feepy stood by to provide artistic feedback.

We debated whether to put this video together last night since it’s testing week at school and we need to ensure Feepy is getting restful sleep. But, the eggs came along quickly, so mom took the little one to bed while dad and Feepy moved to the studio (aka the playroom). Feepy slapped on his Lightening McQueen wrist band, “Let’s Do This!” He really had loosened up and had such a good time.

Check out his video:

We’re glad we stuck with our video production plan. Our goal is to upload at least one video per day to grow our channel. And Feepy revealed a surprise toy that he’d been hoping to get: the Lego Minifigures Series 13 Carpenter. That’s a good end to a long day of standardized assessments.
